The Philips 42" Plasma screen
The fabulous Philips BDS4211
(formerly known as "420P20" *)
plasma screen system is only 9cm deep – so we have included a set of wall brackets in this package so you can hang it on the wall just like a painting.
You can also order the rather curvaceous table stand that is shown in the image at the top of the page, if you prefer (an optional extra which we can organise for you).
Those clever Philips people have incorporated Contrast Reserve™, which intelligently enhances the light output of the screen, whilst keeping its picture content undistorted and natural looking.
It also incorporates a DVI input terminal, enabling 'direct digital input of RGB' – which apparently makes the image better yet!
Also, for your peace of mind, Philips offer a one year swap-out guarantee with this model. So, if it does goes wrong, and they can't repair it, Philips will swap it for another one... and you will not go plasma-less!
Now, as most of you know, superb though it is, the plasma is basically just a screen – it doesn't come with speakers or an audio card. You'll need to either hook it up to your VCR, Sky or Digi Box to receive TV channels or for best results to your home entertainment system to watch DVDs.

The Pioneer 43" XGA Professional Plasma Display (PDP-433MXE) is a professional screen suitable for use both at home and in the office.
The new Deep Encased Cell Structure and Pure Colour Filter provide noticably improved brightness and contrast as compared with previous models. You will enjoy picture quality with an impressive level of contrast, even in bright environments.
With an improved Digital Enhancer, as featured in previous Pioneer plasma displays, more natural and sharper rendition of characters and images is produced by boosting data display clarity. It also allows more distinct display of compressed high-resolution SXGA and UXGA data.
Pioneer's plasma displays are the industry's first to receive the Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) certification of compliance. The PDP-433MXE continues this tradition by providing Plug & Play drivers to support Microsoft Windows and other operating systems.
An Auto Setup function allows automatic screen adjustment via the remote control when inputting a wide variety of computer signal types. To put more punch into presentations, there's a Point Zoom function that lets you instantly expand any portion of the image to four different sizes.
The PDP-433MXE is amazingly thin and lightweight. It also has an efficient heat radiating design that greatly improves its environmental operating conditions. This combination, plus its superior durability, makes it suitable for a wide range of installations and applications.
